Our ESG commitment

ENVIRONMENT
We embed circular principles into our product design and operations. Our service loop allows protective tarpaulins to be washed, repaired, and reused multiple times – significantly reducing waste and extending product lifespan. We are redesigning product lines to improve recyclability and gradually phasing out environmentally harmful substances with safer alternatives.
We also invest in renewable energy and continue to develop low-impact solutions such as FreeTarp – a PVC-free, phthalate-free, and heavy-metal-free material that reflects our ambition to reduce our environmental footprint.

SOCIAL
We aim to be a safe and supportive workplace where everyone is treated with respect and has the opportunity to thrive. Our employees are the heart of everything we do, and we promote well-being and professional development at all levels. We prioritize health and safety by maintaining a proactive approach to risk prevention and workplace well-being. We also collaborate closely with suppliers to promote responsible practices across our value chain.

GOVERNANCE
We operate with transparency and integrity. ESG is a fixed agenda item at every board meeting, and our strategy is guided by internationally recognized sustainability standards.
With clearly defined roles, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous oversight, we ensure that sustainability is a core part of how we make decisions and run our business. Our board plays an active role in driving this agenda forward, while our internal teams ensure alignment across operations.
Our commitment to ethical conduct, strong risk management, and data responsibility forms the foundation for long-term accountability and trust.
Milestone Report: ESG 2024
2024 marks an important milestone for Hans Aa.
We have published our first ESG report, providing a comprehensive overview of how we work with sustainability across our business.
The report outlines our climate ambitions, efforts to advance circularity, waste reduction targets, and our focus on workplace safety and responsible business practices. It is structured in accordance with current EU standards (CSRD / ESRS).
